Wiz Khalifa Has the Best Selling Celeb Pot in the US

The numbers are in, and only one can be the winner. Of all celebrities that have launched their own cannabis brands, Wiz Khalifa appears to be the most successful. Khalifa Kush, which can be purchased in nine legal states, is a money machine that makes mesmerizing $40-50 million in sales every year. The report was prepared by Hoodie Analytics.
According to Hoodie Analytics, Wiz Khalifa’s weed line generated a whopping $50 million in sales for 2024, largely outperforming second-placed Garcia Hand Picked, a brand inspired by the Grateful Dead, which landed $30 million. Third is Tyson 2.0 from legendary boxer Mike Tyson, which pulled in $20 million.Â

- Cheech & Chong’s Cannabis Company
- Caviar Gold (Ice Cube’s Fryday Coast and Jay and Silent Bob’s Snoogans)
- Willie’s Reserve (by the one and only Willie Nelson)
- Belushi’s Farm (by the one and only Josh Belushi)
- 22 Red (a brand from Shavo Odadjian, the guitarist of System of a Down)
- 93 Boys (from rapper Vic Mensa)
- TICAL (from yet another American rapper, Method Man)
Who’s missing from this list? The obvious answer would be Snoop Dogg. Snoop’s Death Row Cannabis pulled in only $2-3 million in sales, placing 20th among celebrity weed brands. But on the other hand Snoop Dogg has worked hard in 2024 to expand his brand and his focus may not have been so much on retail. He opened new coffeeshops in Los Angeles as well as in Amsterdam, and his profits might just go up and up throughout 2025.Â
In the meantime, Whiz Khalifa is also going international. His brand has signed a partnership with German company Sanity Group, and it’s expected to enter the European market during 2025 with two new medical cannabis strains that will be available in more than 3000 pharmacies.Â
