The Perfect Grow, Episode 5, Nutrients
In the 5th episode of season 2 of our video series on indoor growing for beginners, we focus on fertilizers and additives. These products contain all the nutrients your plants need.
Several European countries now allow self-cultivation. This is particularly the case in Germany where the turnover of garden centers has been boosted by legalization. If you are lucky enough to live in one of these countries and you are a consumer, self-production is certainly the best solution. This new season was filmed in Bangkok, Thailand where cannabis has been legal since 2022.

In this new episode we will focus on fertilizers and additives and in particular on the Plagron brand which is very popular with growers. Plagron is a Dutch company specializing in high-quality substrates and plant nutrients.
Here are some products from the Plagron brand that you can find in episode 5.
Power Roots
Power Roots is a root stimulator. This product, to be used in particular at the start of your crop and for repotting, stimulates root development, for crops from seeds or clones.
Alga Grow
Alga Grow is an algae-based fertilizer adapted to the plant's growth period. This fertilizer contains the essential nutrients represented by the three letters N-P-K (in English, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium represented by the letter K for Kalium in Latin) In French, the three essential nutrients for plants are therefore nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
Alga Bloom
This algae-based fertilizer is intended for the flowering phase. It contains proportions of N-P-K adapted to the development of flowers.
Sugar Royal
Sugar Royal is an additive that improves the taste of flowers.
Silic Rock
This product contains silicon. This substance strengthens the structure of your plants. It will allow you to have healthier and more resistant plants.
Green Sensation
Green Sensation is the flowering booster well known to growers and which has made Plagron's reputation. This stimulator allows you to obtain impressive results. It is a PK booster that does not contain any nitrogen at all but high levels of phosphorus and potassium adapted to flowering. The product must be used during the last 4 weeks of flowering. It is important to use it only during this period to obtain good results. Green Sensation allows you to obtain bigger buds with a denser structure.
Power Buds
Power Buds is a flowering stimulator very different from Green Sensation. It does not contain essential nutrients but allows you to harvest bigger buds and shorten the flowering period. Unlike Green Sensation, it is used from the first week of flowering.
