Cannabis butter is a base in marijuana cooking, and so is infused weed milk. Cannabis-infused milk is very easy to make and pretty handy to use with various stuff after that. You can add infused milk in various preparations and get high in subtle and secret ways. Milk binds well with herbs, therefore trying it with cannabis is a must.

There are at least a hundred cannabis recipes that you can prepare with infused milk. Milk has high fat content, and fatty stuff is where cannabinoids bind really well, so it’s a pity not to learn how to infuse with milk if you are keen on cannabis cooking.

Once you have an infused milk preparation, you can add it to almost anything. You can replace everything that requires normal milk, and make different types of edibles, including sugary beverages, milk-based cakes, cookies, and pastries. Or you can even eat your breakfast cereals with it.

You can try to prepare infused milk with regular cow milk, or go for vegan recipes with coconut milk , almond milk, and more. Also, you can infuse the milk with both THC or CBD cannabis strains and oils, depending on your medical goals.

How to Make Infused Cannabis Milk Easy and Quick?

Preparing cannabis milk is really basic. All you need is two ingredients, one free hour in the day, a saucepan, and a strainer.

Ingredients:

  • 300ml milk (regular or a vegetarian option)
  • 4-6g of cannabis (increase if you want stronger)

Instructions:

  1. Powder your cannabis with a grinder or blender. The finer the weed particles the better, as that would help more cannabinoids to bind with the milk.
  2. Put the milk into a saucepan and heat it until it starts to simmer.
  3. Lower the heat and add the powdered weed, then stir occasionally.
  4. Let the mix simmer for about an hour, and keep on stirring every few minutes.
  5. Let it cool after that and filter out the herb with a strainer.
  6. Store your infused milk in the fridge if you don’t plan on using it immediately.
  7. Use it before the ‘expire date’ indicated on the package you used for the infusion.

What Are the Vegan Cannabis Milk Options?

Those who don’t drink cow’s milk can always go for some of the vegan milk alternatives available and make an infusion. You can infuse cannabis with coconut milk, almond milk, soy milk, and other vegan options. However, coconut milk can capture the most cannabinoids and make the most successful infusion out of all options. That’s because of the fatty content of coconut milk. Coconut milk contains nearly 60g of fat per cup. All other vegan milks have less than 10g of fat per cup.

Here’s how to make infused cannabis vegan milk.

Ingredients:

  • 250ml milk of any vegan milk
  • 3-5 grams of cannabis oil (increase for strength)
  • Extracts per choice (e.g., 1 tbsp. vanilla, 1 tbsp. honey, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Add milk in a saucepan and put it on the stove
  2. Add extracts (optional)
  3. Put in the cannabis oil and stir slowly for 10 minutes
  4. Store in the fridge if you don’t plan on using it immediately

Easy and Quick Recipes to Prepare with Infused Cannabis Milk

Quick, undemanding and yummy. Here are three recipes where you can use cannabis milk to make refreshing and high-inducing snacks.

Cannabis Milkshake

If your regular milkshake doesn’t bring all the boys (or girls) in the yard, spiked milkshakes definitely will.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup cannabis milk
  • 3 tbsp. cane sugar
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla extract

All you have to do is add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a smooth consistent concoction. Serve in cool glasses and enjoy. This is the easiest recipe with infused milk that you can make, and you will want to make some more after that.

Easy Chia Pudding

Chia pudding is made with chia seeds and milk. As an addition, you can flavor up with vanilla, maple syrup, or really anything that’s up to your taste.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of chia seeds
  • 1 cup of cannabis milk
  • Flavor per choice

Instructions:

  1. Add the chia seeds and cannabis milk in a bowl and stir well.
  2. When the mixture is well combined, let it sit for a few minutes
  3. Give it another stir to break up any remaining clumps of chia seeds
  4. Cover up and let it stay in the fridge for 2 hours (or overnight if you are up for healthy breakfast)

Space Milk Cookies

If you need a slightly bigger challenge with your cannabis milk cooking efforts, start with infused milk cookies.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup of butter
  • 2 cups regular flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • A pinch of ground nutmeg
  • A pinch of salt
  • A cup of cannabis milk
  • Sugar (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Put all ingredients together except the flour and mix well
  2. Add flour to make dough
  3. Roll out the dough to approximately ½ inch thick
  4. Cut with a round biscuit cutter or cutters in other shapes and sprinkle with sugar
  5. Arrange the cookies in a baking tray and put it in a preheated oven at 350°F  (175 °C)
  6. The cookies should bake for max. 10 minutes

Milk is a great binder with herbs, so besides cannabis you can try these recipes with other herbs as well, for example lavender. Or, if you want to prepare more mindful drinks you can infuse both cannabis and lavender together and make nice sleep concoctions.
