Strawberries Dipped in Infused Chocolate

This recipe developed by The Cannabist has become a Valentine’s classic. Here’s how to make canna-chocolate dipped strawberries. It’s really simple!

Ingredients:

  • Infused coconut oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Chocolate chips (1 ½ cups)
  • Strawberries with stems (12 pieces)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the canna-coconut oil and the chocolate chips in a medium-sized bowl. Once the mixture becomes smooth let the bowl stay at room temperature.
  2. Dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate and arrange them in a pan with parchment paper. The berries will be good to try in half an hour.

Infused Truffles

This recipe comes from IsThatSoh’s Sohelia Hakimi-Weiers, who tells us how to make a plate of 12 red-velvet infused truffles

Ingredients:

  • Red velvet cake mix (1 box)
  • Cream cheese (1 cup)
  • Infused chocolate (10-12 pieces)
  • Semi-sweet chocolate baking chips (3 cups)
  • Melted white chocolate (2 cups)
  • Heart-shaped candy (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the red velvet cake following the instructions on the box
  2. Beat the cream cheese in a separate bowl until it softens and becomes easy to spread
  3. Make crumbs out of the cake and add them into the cream cheese bowl
  4. Mix the cream cheese and the red velvet cake crumbs until it looks like a dough
  5. Take 1 tablespoon of the cake mixture and flatten it in your hand, then place a piece of THC chocolate in the middle and wrap the dough around the chocolate
  6. Arrange the wrapped chocolate balls on a baking sheet covered with wax paper
  7. Melt the chocolate rolls by double boiling and drizzle over each piece until fully coated
  8. Do the same for the white chocolate and garnish when done
  9. Let the infused sugary truffles harden on the wax paper before storing them in the fridge

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Infused peanut butter cookies, anyone? Here’s one more cool Valentine’s recipe, this time from Green Dragon

Ingredients:

  • Cannabis peanut butter pretzels (1 bar, chopped)
  • Infused milk chocolate (¼ of a package)
  • All-purpose flour (1 ¼ cups)
  • Baking soda (½ tablespoon)
  • Granulated sugar (¾ of a cup)
  • Salt (½ tablespoon)
  • Softened butter or cannabutter (½ cup)
  • Egg (1 piece)
  • Vanilla extract (½ tablespoon)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F, and line two baking sheets with parchment paper and put them on side
  2. Whisk together the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda and salt) in a medium-sized bowl
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar with a hand mixer until you have a light, fluffy mixture
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar cream and beat well with the mixer
  5. Gradually add the dry mix from the first bowl into the second and continue to mix until everything looks well incorporated and doughy
  6. Next, add the infused peanut butter pretzels and milk chocolate into the dough
  7. Use about 1 tablespoon of the mixture to create dough balls, then arrange them on the baking sheet
  8. Bake in the oven for 7-10 minutes, making regular checks to see if the cookies are ready
  9. After the baking is done, ensure that the cookies cool off slightly before removing them from the baking sheet and placing them in a cooling rack
