Product Earth the UK's annual hemp, CBD & legal cannabis experience, took place this weekend in the glorious sunshine at the NAEC, Kenilworth.

Product Earth 2022

If you have been living under a rock and don't know, The three-day festival celebrates hemp, CBD & legal cannabis. Delivering experience, education and empowering diversity in the marketplace. All to fuel the growth of a high-quality & trustworthy industry that is good for the planet and all those that inhabit it.

There were over 150 hemp, CBD and legal cannabis exhibitors, including retailers from some of the biggest brands in cannabis for all your weed-related paraphernalia and culture. This was alongside experts in medicinal CBD products, extraction, home growing and cannabis activism and advocacy groups.

For those looking to be educated, there was a weekend-long seminar programme featuring speakers from across the cannabis industry giving talks on all subjects, including a look at cannabis culture, the future of medicinal weed, women in weed and new technological and therapeutic research and breakthroughs.

If that wasn't enough for you, there were daily food demonstrations on topics such as fermentation and sugar-free cooking. There was music throughout the day and a BMX competition in the central courtyard.

If you were lucky enough to be camping all weekend, there were plenty of pre-show activities to wake you up and get you in the right frame of mind for the day with Breath-work and Gong bath sessions alongside "ganja yoga" practice.

That wasn't all, though. If you were staying at the campsite, it also meant instant access to the "after dark" events. Once the main show was over, you could relax and enjoy "FireSide chats" with chosen speakers. As well as stimulating your mind, there was—a great selection of street food available. In terms of entertainment, there was an eclectic mix of musical acts to enjoy, who would keep you dancing till the early hours.

In recent years many 420-friendly shows, especially in the UK, have become relatively flat and lacked energy and direction. Product Earth, however, felt fresh and full of optimism. It was the most open and upfront 420 event I have attended in the UK. There was a real community spirit and a great atmosphere. It felt like a shift forward for UK cannabis culture.

I think the Product Earth Manifesto sums up perfectly what the festival set out to and did indeed achieve.

"Product Earth is an event to celebrate the Cannabis plant in all its legal forms. We believe everyone should have access to the whole plant. There is no exception to this rule."

"It is time to force a new route, a new agenda, a more inclusive and holistic agenda. Where the unconventional can be the norm and to build a safe place for the misrepresented. Product Earth is a safe and trustworthy environment dedicated to education, entertainment and inspiration."

See you there next year....
