If you're looking for a few great ways to prepare for the New Year, try one of these 420-friendly New Year's resolutions.

1. Try cooking with cannabis.

You can infuse practically everything with cannabis, from sauces to baked goods and drinks, if you put some effort into learning the basics. Best of all, it's a lot of fun. You can rely on many tools, like canna butter-making machines and dosage calculators, to ensure that your culinary creations taste tremendous and hit the perfect point  regarding dosage and serving size.

2. Try new strains

There's a lot of weed to explore, so try a new strain whenever possible. Research all the different flavours, effects, and medicinal properties and see what suits you. Keep a journal to record how the strain smelt, felt, and tasted. Your perfect strain could be out there waiting for you.

3. Have regular tolerance breaks.

If you smoke quite a lot, it might be time to introduce tolerance breaks. Taking one every few months for up to 7 days at a time is a great way to ensure you get higher and save money. However, the T-break you need might be a different product. Our bodies metabolize flowers differently from vapes or edibles, so switch it up often to see what happens.

4. Try new ways to get high.

If you've smoked flower forever, maybe next year is the time to explore all the other options. There are many ways to enjoy cannabis and many products to suit every person's tastes. Try dabbing or vaping!

5. Roll like a pro

Learning something new is always a good resolution. If you want to be everyone's go-to joint roller, some many videos and articles will give you a step-by-step method on how to roll everything from a classic joint to more elaborate joints in the shape of crosses or roses.
