If you are looking for creative cannabis-infused recipes for your upcoming Halloween party, you’ve landed on the right page. Halloween isn’t just for trick-or-treaters; it’s also the prime season for adults to host festive, elevated gatherings. Perhaps also get a jolly first taste of your fresh harvest. Whether you need ideas for whipping up spooktacular treats or crafting seasonal drinks, here are four recipes for a hauntingly good time.

These easy-to-make, infused recipes will help bring festive flair and autumn flavors to your 21+ Halloween table.

1. “Boo-Berry” Ghost Rice Crispy Cannabis Treats

Rice crispy treats are foolproof, fast, and easy to portion accurately. Using cannabutter or infused coconut oil allows you to distribute the dose evenly throughout the batch.

  • Yield: 12 treats (Target: ~5 mg THC each, using 60 mg total THC in cannabutter)
  • Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cooling Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp cannabutter (or a combination of standard butter and tested cannabutter equaling ~60 mg THC)
  • 10 oz (1 bag) mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal (or blueberry-flavored puffed cereal for a purple tint)
  • 8 oz white melting chocolate or candy melts
  • Edible candy eyes

Instructions:

  1. Melt the cannabutter and marshmallows in a large saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and gently fold in the rice cereal until evenly coated.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan and allow it to cool completely.
  4. Cut into 12 rectangular bars.
  5. Melt the white chocolate, transfer to a piping bag (or ziplock bag with the corner snipped), and drizzle white chocolate over each bar to create a mummy or ghost pattern. Add candy eyes before the chocolate sets.

2. Infused Salted Caramel Apples

Caramel apples are a quintessence of autumn. Incorporating infused coconut oil or butter into homemade caramel delivers a rich, buttery treat with high visual appeal.

  • Yield: 6 caramel apples (Target: ~5 mg THC each, using 30 mg total THC)
  • Prep Time: 20 minutes | Setting Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium crisp apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp works best), washed, thoroughly dried, and stems replaced with wooden craft sticks
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp cannabutter (containing ~30 mg total THC)
  • ½ tsp sea salt, plus coarse sea salt for finishing

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease lightly.
  2. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, sugar, corn syrup, standard butter, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  3. Heat until the mixture reaches 240°F (soft-ball stage) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Remove from heat immediately and vigorously whisk in the 1 tbsp of cannabutter until fully incorporated.
  5. Dip each apple into the warm caramel, rotating to coat evenly. Place on the parchment paper and sprinkle the tops with coarse sea salt. Let cool completely.

3. Spooky “Witch’s Brew” Cider Punch (Liquid Edible)

Liquid edibles take effect more rapidly than baked goods, making a low-dose punch an ideal option for adult gatherings. Using an infused simple syrup or alcohol-free cannabis tincture ensures easy blending.

  • Yield: 10 servings (Target: ~2.5 mg to 5 mg THC per glass)
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups fresh apple cider
  • 2 cups ginger ale or sparkling water
  • 1 cup cranberry juice (for color)
  • 1 orange, sliced into rounds
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • Water-soluble cannabis tincture or infused simple syrup (dosed for 25–50 mg total THC across the batch)

Instructions:

  1. In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine the apple cider, ginger ale, and cranberry juice.
  2. Stir in the measured water-soluble tincture or infused simple syrup thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
  3. Add ice, sliced oranges, and apple slices.
  4. Serve in individual glasses with a ladle, stirring the bowl gently before each pour.

4. Wicked Pumpkin Spice THC Cookies

Leaning into iconic fall spices, these soft-baked pumpkin cookies combine cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove with a lightly infused butter base.

  • Yield: 16 cookies (Target: ~5 mg THC each, using 80 mg total THC)
  • Prep Time: 15 minutes | Bake Time: 12 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp cannabutter (softened, containing ~80 mg total THC)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and pumpkin pie spice in a medium bowl.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the standard butter, cannabutter, and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Drop 16 equal spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are firm. Cool completely before serving or adding optional black and orange icing decorations.

A Note on Dosing & Responsible Serving

When making infused edibles at home, start low and go slow. Aim for a target dose of 2.5 mg to 5 mg of THC per serving, especially when catering to a group. Clearly mark all infused dishes, keep non-infused alternatives readily available, and ensure all infused treats remain strictly out of reach of children and pets.

Happy Halloween!
