Snoop Dogg Invests in UK Cannabis Clinic

Snoop Dogg is expanding his investment portfolio beyond recreational cannabis. The American rapper's company has announced a £4.5 million investment in a cannabis clinic located in the UK.
In 2024, Snoop Dogg opened two cannabis stores—one in Los Angeles and another in Amsterdam. He has also expressed interest in the medical cannabis sector. Through his investment fund, Casa Verde Capital, he is now investing in a UK clinic known as Mamedica.
Medical cannabis has been legal in the UK since November 2018, and the market has grown to nearly £1 billion. Currently, around 100,000 patients are receiving cannabis-based treatments.
Conditions that can be treated with cannabis in the UK include chronic pain, neurological and movement disorders, mental health issues, gastrointestinal disorders, insomnia, anxiety, glaucoma, and migraines.
Mamedica, based in London, is one of the largest cannabis clinics in the UK, currently serving 7,500 patients. The clinic aims to double its patient base in the near future.
Mamedica offers cannabis in various forms, including flowers, oils, vapes, edibles, and capsules. According to the clinic's website, "We provide personalised treatment plans, access to the UK's widest range of cannabis-based medicines, and fast, discreet nationwide delivery."
Casa Verde's £4.5 million investment in the clinic was reported by the Observer.
