Dutch study finds that Cannabis smokers are more likely to do worse in exams

In 2011 the city of Maastricht put restrictions in place and only allowed people with Dutch, German and Belgian passports access to legal cannabis sold in coffeeshops. The reason being it was thought that neigbouring countries such as France were omly visiting the Netherlands just for drugs.
Economists studied aprroximatly 54,000 grades from students who had attended the city university before and after the ban and they believe that as a result of this change cognigitive thinking was greatly improved.
