COPS swooped on a Bedworth home and found cannabis plants growing in a tent upstairs.
Officers from Bedworth Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) carried out the raid at a property in Bulkington Road this morning.
They found six cannabis plants growing in a tent in an upstairs bedroom with a number of off cuts drying out.
A man, who has not been identified, was arrested at the scene and was taken to Nuneaton Police Station.
After being interviewed by PC Lee Marston and PC Roy Hampton, the man admitted production of cannabis and is currently being dealt with.
PC Marston said "We are keen to hear from anyone in the community who has information about cannabis grows, and would appeal for them to look out for the tell tale signs.”
These include:
*A strong sickly sweet smell.
* Cannabis growing equipment.
* Covered or blocked off windows.
* Visitors at unsociable hours.
* Constant lighting day and night.
* High levels of heat and condensation.
* Constant buzz of ventilation.
* Excessive amount of cables.
