Armed police have seized a shotgun, ammunition and cannabis plants during a drugs raid in Upton Cheyney.
Firearms and dog units joined officers during a search of outbuildings on land off Wick Lane earlier today.
They found around two dozen plants, believed to be cannabis, a shotgun and ammunition, as well as two quad bikes which are thought to have been stolen.
The police are now making further inquiries about a number of trailers also found at the site.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and handling stolen goods and remain in police custody.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Andy Hucker said the raid had been made possible thanks to tip-offs from people living in the local area.
He said: "This operation was in response to community intelligence about suspicious activity at the location.
"We always take on board information from local people, which is vital when we are asking the courts to give us a warrant."
Sgt Hucker urged members of the public to report any suspicions about criminal activity.
