The 2nd Soft Secrets Cup in Prague!

Last February at a secret location in Prague for the second time in a row the Soft Secrets Cup was held. After the succesful launch of the first cup one year ago (it was the very first cannabis cup ever in the Czech Republic!), Soft Secrets then decided to continue it's Czech adventure and go ahead with a second edition.

Last February at a secret location in Prague for the second time in a row the Soft Secrets Cup was held. After the succesful launch of the first cup one year ago (it was the very first cannabis cup ever in the Czech Republic!), Soft Secrets then decided to continue it's Czech adventure and go ahead with a second edition. With the help of some friendly contacts it was possible for the organizers to host a perfect Cup, at a secret location and only accessible to specially invited guests.

Soft Secrets' editor-in-chief Cliff Cremer was of course on hand to celebrate this momentous fact, as were various other people from the Soft Secrets crew. Hugo Madera, the editor of the Spanish editon of Soft Secrets, even flew in with some of his mates to take part in the jury. And the fact that some Dutch geezers from the industry were also around to do their duty, made this event a truly international occasion.

With the new Czech laws in place surely one can argue that the quality of the product was high as ever. After a hard day's testing, smoking and sampling, the jury was out for the verdict. Locally grown CN Haze took Indoor's first prize, whereas the now famous Tao growshop took possesion of the first prize in the outdoor category with a real classic: Purple #1. Both winners not only won a highly prestigious cup, but were invited to join Soft Secrets at the Spannabis fair in Barcelona too, and even to be VIP's at the legendary Highlife Cup in Amsterdam later this year.

The times, they are changing, and that goes too for the Czech Republic and its effervescent capital Prague. Because since 1 January 2010 the possession of small amounts of weed or hash is no longer punishable, and even the growing of up to five plants is also allowed! All in all, more than enough reason for Soft Secrets to throw a stonking good party for the second time and organize this legendary Cup in proper fashion!
