Watching TV stoned is one of the most enjoyable experiences you can have. The only problem is to sort out what to watch. With so many streaming services available, this can be hard. But here are a few guaranteed to entertain.

Rick & Morty

Have you ever watched Rick and Morty? If you haven't watched Rick and Morty whilst stoned? That is the question.

This modern legend of an animated series takes you into the world of a crazy scientist named Rick Sanchez and his uncomfortable grandson Morty Smith. Together, the two go on interdimensional adventures that bring reality into question.

Rick & Morty is full of cleverly woven, highly-intelligent jokes. If you are too stoned to get it and your brain wants pretty colours, then the visual comedy will do the trick on its own.

Cosmos

This "deep-dive" series explores the big, ponderous questions about space and existentialism and could probably be one of the best things to watch, whether you are high or not.

Host and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson succeeds in combining clearly explained scientific theory and answers with complex storytelling regarding space, humans, nature, and the earth.

Episodes cover fascinating topics, including the purpose of molecules, the speed of light, and the lifespan of a star. Coupled with a powerful indica and some chill time, you might get sucked into a televisual black hole of knowledge.

Stranger Things

This series has not become a worldwide phenomenon by chance, seamlessly boasting confidently layered flawless storylines with in-depth and subtle character development.

Part science fiction, part horror, part drama, part nostalgic comedy, this hybrid juggernaut of a show is set in the 1980's fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The mix of dreamy '80s references and constant plot twists and turns makes "Stranger Things" one of the best shows to watch (or rewatch) whilst stoned.

Trailer Park Boys

The three main protagonists, Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles, live in the Sunnyvale Trailer Park. The series follows them as they repeatedly try various moneymaking schemes, often getting them in trouble. Trailer Park Boys utilises a mockumentary style and is packed with weed references. A perfect blend of dark humour, leisurely pace and attitude are on the ideal level for when you want to chill and laugh.

Somebody Feed Phil

It would be blasphemy not to include something in the food category. Somebody Feed Phil stars Phil Rosenthal, who travels to exotic destinations to talk with fascinating people and eat mouthwatering food. The incredible food and Rosenthal's distinctive sense of humour quickly makes this one of the best shows for stoners.
