While the Company already has a long-standing relationship with its current supplier of Bionic brand electronic cigarettes, MCM has been in discussions with additional producers over the last several days. Management is confident an agreement can be reached because producers understand the impact and value of the new THC e-Cig.
Benefits of an electronic THC e-Cig cannot be underestimated given the size of the medical cannabis business. Some benefits include:
Smokeless - the new e-Cig with THC will allow the patient to consume the product without all of the harmful effects and carcinogens associated with actual smoke.
Can be used anywhere - patients can use the e-Cig anywhere. This eliminates the patient's need to find a safe place to "light up" because they are not actually lighting up. The active THC ingredient is vaporized, producing only a water vapor and eliminates the smell associated with traditional medical cannabis.
Eliminate the need to consistently keep inventory of medical cannabis - rather than using actual plant material, the THC is in an oil form that is added to the flavor cartridge of the THC e-Cig.
Professional product - the new THC e-Cig will be a professional product with a high level of quality control. Product and packaging will be professionally done and recognized as a reliable alternative for medical cannabis patients.
Significant marketing opportunity- the new THC e-Cig will be marketed to physicians and medical cannabis dispensaries. As mentioned in the prior news release, the market for the new cannabis electronic cigarettes is substantial given that 16 of the 50 states including the District of Columbia have legalized medical cannabis as a viable treatment for such diseases such as AIDS, multiple sclerosis, pain, glaucoma, epilepsy, and other conditions according to many sources.
"We are confident we will be able to finalize excellent terms with the prominent cartridge producer in the very near future. Either way we are going to production soon," said Mike Amezquita, CEO of MCM. "I cannot describe how excited I am about this new product. While it is important to produce medical cannabis, having a much more viable delivery method is even more important. This could change the whole industry," said Amezquita.
