A man and woman both aged 60+ years have been guilty for cultivating a large amount of cannbis plants in order to try save a failing angling business.
A Judge said:"You were both involved in an enterprise on a considerable scale for profit. You, Pearson, provided the premises and you, Woolfenden had the experience and knew about selling the cannabis.
"This was a substantial criminal enterprise and Woolfenden had a previous conviction and had been to prison for cultivating cannabis in 1999."
