Police say they found a large amount of cannabis and carrier bags of white powder during a raid on a house on Kingsbury Close, Flint
A cannabis farm has been discovered by police in Flint.
Officers raided a property on Kingsbury Close just before 3pm on Sunday.
A large number of cannabis plants and dried cannabis was recovered during the warrant as well as two carrier bags containing white powder. There was also evidence of cannabis cultivation.
Police say a 26-year-old man from Flint was arrested at the scene has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “On January 4 Flint Local Policing Team attended an address in Kingsbury Close, Flint to execute a warrant.
“Officers found a large amount of cannabis plants and dried cannabis at the location and also two carrier bags containing white powder.
“A 26-year-old man from Flint was arrested has been released on police bail pending further investigations.
“The warrant was executed after North Wales Police received intelligence from members of the public. This warrant has taken a large amount of drugs off the streets that otherwise would have probably been distributed in the local area."
