The fire started from an electrical fault in a grow room above Nicola’s Italian restaurant and Lime hair and beauty salon in Mersyside. Firefighters attended the scene around 9:30pm. The Fire and Rescue Service contacted the Police after they found evidence of cannabis cultivation. Officers removed growing equipment and also noticed that the electric supply was alillegally bypassed.
