Cannabis plants with a potential street value of around £100,000 have been seized in Fermanagh.

Cannabis plants with a potential street value of around £100,000 have been seized in Fermanagh.

The plants were discovered during what police described as "a proactive search" in the Ports Road area of Newtownbutler on Saturday night.

"Cannabis cultivation equipment and other associated paraphernalia have also been seized by police," a PSNI statement said, adding that inquiries are continuing.
