CannaTrade - International Hemp Fair and Festival
For the 18th time, the CannaTrade - International Hemp Fair and Festival will take place, for the fourth time at Halle 622 in Zurich.

With over 6000m2 of space, 150 exhibitors from around the world will present products and information about the industrial, medical, and recreational cannabis plant. From cultivation accessories to CBD and hemp products, information about hemp as medicine, edibles, cosmetics, as well as smoking accessories, CannaTrade offers everything related to the topic of hemp.
A major topic at CannaTrade 2024 is the pilot projects that have been launched in various Swiss municipalities and cities. These projects examine the legal distribution of THC cannabis to recreational users, paving the way for the anticipated cannabis legalization in Switzerland, which is expected in the coming years. During the major panel discussion on the topic "Legalization in Switzerland," taking place on Friday, May 24, speakers include Barbara Gysi (National Councilor, SP, Chair of the Commission for Social Security and Health) and Christian Werz (Federal Office of Public Health).
The second major topic is cannabis in medicine. Since August 1, 2024, doctors can easily prescribe cannabis to patients, and the cultivation, import, and export of medical cannabis have been permitted. At the "Medical Cannabis Pavilion", producers, pharmacies, doctors, and patients come together to provide comprehensive information about the opportunities available.
Around Hall 622, the Chillout Area with the popular Hemp Food Festival, featuring food stalls from around the world, bars, and music, invites visitors to relax and enjoy. In collaboration with Radio Rabe (Bern), top DJs will spin records, and in between, the Swiss Championship in Joint Rolling will take place.
At CannaTrade, business customers enjoy relaxed networking in the Business Lounge, and Swiss CBD producers will once again compete in the CannaSwissCup in 2024 to determine the best CBD strains. Excitement is guaranteed!
