Kenneth Lea grew cannabis to ease the pain of his arthritis. The court heard how he extracted oil from the plant in order to self medicate. Police estimate that the 60 plants that were found are worth approximatly £23,000. A special hearing was also held to determine wether the plants and oil that was found could be deemed as personal use. He was charged £745.
