A MAN has been charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply and is due to appear in court.


A MAN has been charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply and is due to appear in court.

Sergeant Rich Barnett, of Yeovil Police Station, said thanks to information from the public officers investigated suspicious activity at an address on Victoria Road. Officers searched the property and found cannabis before arresting a man. On Monday Harry Waters, of Victoria Road, Yeovil, was charged with the offence and will appear at South Somerset Magistrate's Court on June 30. Sgt Barnett urged people always report crime on 101.

Meanwhile neighbourhood officers carried out a second Misuse of Drugs warrant at an address in Cavalier Walk, Yeovil on Wednesday June 4.

A quantity of a Class A drug, believed to be heroin, was found. A 30-year-old man was arrested and is currently on bail pending further inquiries.
