Police said all the bedrooms in the house were being used to farm cannabis

Up to £400,000 worth of cannabis has been seized during a raid on a house in Salford, police have said.

Around 630 plants were found when officers executed a warrant at the house on Worlsey Road in Worsley at around 17:00 BST on Wednesday.

A police spokesman said the entire upstairs was being used as a large cannabis production farm, with all the bedrooms full of plants.

Ch Supt Mary Doyle said it had been "a massively significant find".

She said no arrests had been made but officers were "focussed on finding who was responsible for such a large criminal operation".
