A 24-year-old woman has been arrested after police recovered 400 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £200,000.
She was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity following the search of a house in the Florencecourt area of Fermanagh on Thursday. A neighbouring property was searched and cultivation equipment was recovered.
Police searched a third house yesterday and a considerable quantity of cannabis was found.
Detective Chief Inspector Derek Scott said: "This is the sixth cannabis factory uncovered by officers in Fermanagh in recent months. We are committed to tackle this scourge on our community and will continue to work to disruption these criminals.
"Information provided by local people is vital in helping us to identify properties where drugs activity may be taking place.
"It can also help us track down those involved in drugs distribution in the local area and assist in building up sufficient evidence to shut down their activities and take them off the streets for good.
"Drugs are a scourge on society, destroying lives and families and I would encourage local people to contact us if they have suspicions."
