Wipeout Omega Collection (PS4)
The Wipeout games are a series of futuristic racers which involve players piloting anti-gravity ships through various forms of races. The series is known for its extreme speed, range of electronic dance music soundtracks, and consequential difficulty. Power-ups come in the form of offensive or defensive weaponry, ranging from machine guns, missiles, rockets, to energy shields, auto pilots, and mines.
DGF - "I have been playing consoles since the early 90's so consider myself to be abit of an old school gamer, Wipeout was the first ever game I owned on the original Sony Playstation. This newly released ps4 title is actually 3 old wipeout games in 1 which have all been remastered with smoother gameplay and upgraded 4K graphics, it really does play and look better than ever".
"The most enjoyable way I have found to play this game is firstly to be nicely medicated which is of course how we all are most of the time anyway.....but secondly instead of using a HD screen I choose to play through the PSVR headset in cinema mode with headphones and stream my own high energy playlists from Spotify"
