Sometimes referred to as a "Grow Room", a grow tent is a convenient, portable frame that allows you to grow various plants, including cannabis, indoors. The frame can be easily assembled and consists of strong yet light metal poles that slot together quickly and a thick canvas "tent" outer layer. The outer layer is often made from nylon, polyester or Mylar and is bonded to a reflective inner lining that covers the inside of the tent. Grow tents are available in many sizes to suit all stages of the plant life cycle and fit all space constraints.

Used alongside your environment controls such as your ventilation system, they will capture and retain heat, light and humidity at a specific level. This allows you to manipulate your plant's growth cycle, encouraging it to produce the results that you require, whether that's growing plants quicker, bigger, or for heavier buds.

Using a grow tent, you create and maintain an artificial mini-climate that you have complete control over, something that a typical outside environment does not naturally allow. Grow tents are great as they enable you to grow plants like cannabis. Otherwise, they require natural climate conditions vastly different from those in your geographical location.

Grow Tents sustain the perfect mini-environment through the control of Light, Temperature and humidity.

All plants need light and in a grow tent environment, this light is provided by powerful grow lights that simulate natural sunlight. The silver reflective tent lining reflects any light onto the plant so that none is wasted. This helps get light to the plant's lower areas, which may be in the shade or hidden from sunlight naturally. Tents seams are sealed so that no light can escape.

This sealed environment also means that plants are only exposed to light when you want them to be. When you are replicating the daylight cycle, the period of darkness (night) is as essential to get right as the amount of light (day) as your plant performs different processes during these times that are essential to its overall health and development and Most modern grow Lights systems can be dimmed down and brightened giving.

Additionally, your mini-climate offers insulation that retains the heat produced by the grow lights you are running to stimulate the plant's growth. At a basic level, grow tents are great for all stages of the cannabis plant's lifecycle, including seed starting, cuttings and propagation.
