A teenage boy from Welham Green has dodged jail after police uncovered a drugs stash with a street value of roughly £500.
The 17-year-old, who the Welwyn Hatfield Times cannot name for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply at St Albans Magistrates' Court on July 23 and was referred to the East Herts Young Offender Panel for five months.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.
Police raided his home on June 13, and discovered over 80 grams of cannabis.
