Two charged after drugs found on sailing boat

Two men from the Isle of Man have been charged after a sailing boat with £110,000 of cannabis on board was stopped in the south of the island.


Two men from the Isle of Man have been charged after a sailing boat with £110,000 of cannabis on board was stopped in the south of the island.

It follows a joint operation in Port St Mary on Thursday between the police and Customs and Excise.

Police said the pair, a 24-year-old from Douglas and a 45 year-old from Port Erin, have been charged with possession with intent to supply.

Both men are expected to appear at Douglas Court House on Friday.
