Two cannabis offenders among those sentenced by Derby magistrates

JOSHUA Davies, 20, of Washington Avenue, Chaddesden, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge for possessing cannabis in Wirksworth on May 4.

MATTHEW Proudlove, 34, of Myrtle Avenue, Long Eaton, was fined £75, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge for possessing cannabis in Long Eaton on March 6.

AMANPREET Dullat, 30, of Hayes Avenue, Derby, was fined £255, ordered to pay £35 costs, a £26 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six points for driving without due care and attention in Bethulie Street, Derby, on March 21. No separate penalty was imposed for failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident on the same day.

JONATHAN Emson, 40, of London Road, Derby, was fined £200, ordered to pay £85 costs, a £20 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three points for speeding on January 16.

ADAM Milde, 23, of Haydn Road, Chaddesden, was fined £92, ordered to pay £35 costs, a £20 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three points for speeding on February 8.

KATY Marista Jimmink , 29, of Rosehill Street, Derby, was handed a six-month community order, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge, for assault in Derby on June 26.

KEVIN Poynton, 32, of Oversetts Road, Newhall, Swadlincote, was jailed for 18 weeks and disqualified from driving for three years for driving while disqualified in Oversetts Road, on May 24.

ASHLEY Williamson, 24, of no fixed address, was jailed for six weeks for stealing chicken fillets worth £36 from Sainsbury's in Long Eaton on June 17.

JEANETTE Seale, 37, of Dryden Street, Derby, was fined £37, with £20 victim surcharge, and told to pay £60 costs, for not having a TV licence between January 18 and February 19.
