Two people have been arrested and bailed after suspected cannabis plants were found at a house in Heanor.

Two people have been arrested and bailed after suspected cannabis plants were found at a house in Heanor.

Police attended a house on Ashforth Avenue at 9am on Friday where a search took place before officers discovered a small number of suspected cannabis plants in the garage. A large quantity of money was also found in the house.

A 39-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were arrested and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
