Three people have been sentenced after cannabis was found in a Sidcup nightclub, leading to the discovery of a huge cannabis factory and CS gas in Pratts Bottom.
On December 20 last year, at 10.52am, police were called to the Plastic Red nightclub in Station Road, Sidcup.
Officers found a quantity of cannabis was being stored there.
Michael Ross, 65, of Norstead Lane, Pratts Bottom and Anthony Parsons, 43, a chef of Iron Mill Lane, Dartford were arrested at the scene.
Later, a search of Ross’ home address led to discovery of a cannabis factory with over 200 cannabis plants, a CS Gas canister and boxes of cannabis hidden in the fridge.
At the time a spokesman for Bexley police said the cannabis had a street value of around £800,000.
Christine Ross, 60, an estate agent, was arrested at the address.
At Inner London Crown Court, Michael Ross was sentenced to four years in prison after being found guilty of production of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis, abstracting electricity and possession of a prohibited weapon (a CS gas canister).
Anthony Parsons was sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended for two years, after being found guilty of production of cannabis and possession of cannabis.
He was also required to undertake 200 hours unpaid community service.
Christine Ross was given a conditional discharge after being found guilty of possession of a prohibited weapon (a CS gas canister).
