Nine cannabis factories have been closed down and millions of pounds worth of drugs recovered following a series of police raids across Cardiff.
Four people have been charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis and have been remanded in custody.
South Wales Police said they were acting on intelligence given by members of the community.
The raids took place over the past three days.
Det Insp Julian Bull of Cardiff CID said: "We executed a number of warrants across Cardiff and have seized significant quantities of cannabis plants as well as the production paraphernalia.
"As a result of information received from members of the public we have been able to prevent substantial amounts of drugs from reaching the community."
