A skincare brand has launched a cannabis-infused line of products.
Apothecanna, based in Denver, Colorado, stocks a range of weed-inspired goods from massage lotion to lip balm.
But because of the high THC and CBD content - the active chemicals found in pot - consumers must visit a legal medical marijuana dispensary in the southwest state to buy them.
The company reassures users: 'When used topically cannabis has a wide variety of benefits, but it is non-inebriating and does not show up on a standard drug test.'
As well as helping to treat topical skin conditions Apothecanna says its products will provide quick relief for pain and soreness.
In 2000 Colorado legalized marijuana use for medical purposes. Since then the state has issued thousands of medical marijuana cards to patients.
In December Governor John Hickenlooper signed Amendment 64 legalizing the recreational use of cannabis.
Adults aged over 21 can possess up to an ounce of marijuana and grow up to six plants privately.
A statement on Apothecanna's website reads: 'Our mission at Apothecanna is to spread the wisdom of traditional plant medicine.
'We believe in the fundamental right of access to the healing powers of nature and promote sustainable interaction with the world around us.'
While Apothecanna is only stocked at dispensaries in Colorado the company says products will soon hit stores across Arizona and California.
Prices start from $10 for a calming body spray to $54 for an eight ounce tube of 'natural pain relief'. Last year the company said it sold around 10,000 bottles of product.
