Police have seized a significant number of cannabis plants from a house near Claudy in Co Derry.

 

The detection was made by members of the Limavady Neighbourhood Policing Team at Farkland Road at about 7.30pm last night.

The scene is still being examined, but early indications are that several hundred plants are in the house. A 58-year-old man has been arrested.
