Several high-quality offers

On 24th June, for the second time ever, the European Products Awards for the cannabis industry in Europe were given out. Companies from ten European countries participated in this exciting competition. The range of products competing for prizes was remarkable: rolling papers, vaporizers, bongs, lamps, resources for cultivation, hemp drinks... a wide range of diverse and high-quality products.

The readers of Soft Secrets' various European editions were able to cast their votes through the website (www.softsecrets.nl). A fantastic flat-screen TV was the prize won by a lucky name drawn amongst participants. Visitors at the awards ceremony were also able to express their preferences. In other words, the atmosphere was amazing. Finally, an expert panel of judges examined all the products, considering aspects such as originality, durability and innovation.

From 7:00 pm on, the stands saw a large turnout. The organization's choice of an Arab-style ambience for the event proved highly successful. The delicious Moroccan couscous and elegant tearoom were much appreciated; visitors also appreciated the hookahs provided for their use, strategically placed among comfortable cushions where they could relax and chat, enjoying a joint or a hookah in good company.

But the tension kept rinsing... who would win first prize? The award ceremony itself began around 10:00 pm, after a fun belly dance performance. With the all eyes in the crowded room on them, the winners from different countries celebrated on stage as Jeroen Bots, publisher of Soft Secrets, handed out their prizes. A special People's Choice Award went to Mazar LED Systems with their Spectrabox LED Grow Light. However, the event's crowning moment was, of course, the announcement of the best European cannabis product. And the main prize of this second European Product Awards went to... Ozotres with Generadores de Ozono.

The organizer, Publisher BV Discover, who publishes Highlife and Soft Secrets, was totally satisfied with how this second edition of the European Product Awards turned out. Jeroen Bots: "The cannabis industry is multi-faceted. It's great to see so many entrepreneurs devoting themselves to innovation and quality. That is why we want to offer them a stage to present their products to the public with a competition. We firmly believe in the European Product Awards and, luckily, are not the only ones. Next year we will definitely have a third edition!"
