Police have shut down a cannabis factory in east Belfast.
Police have shut down a cannabis factory in east Belfast.
The factory, found in a house in the Halstein Drive area on Tuesday, contained cannabis plants with a street value of £100,000.
Chief Inspector Mark McEwan said: "Where properties are being used to grow cannabis plants, often the electricity supply has been tampered with and this presents a risk to adjacent properties.
"Landlords are encouraged to make checks to ensure their properties are not being used by criminals."
