A cannabis farm in Birmingham was shut down by anti-drug cops this morning but not before those responsible had siphoned off £32,500 of electricity.

When British Gas checked the meter they found £32,500 worth of electricity had been used.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman confirmed: "More than 200 plants were seized at the address. An investigation is ongoing to find those who grew them
