A 35 year old women was found to be growing cannabis at her address by police officers following a tip off. Katrina Parry was arrested and charged but her partner was later released with no charge.
Her defence solicitor issued a statement saying - "She didn't think it was illegal and read on the internet it was legal. Social services have now had involvement and she has not smoked it since.”
