Jailed: police found a cannabis factory in Lynton Avenue, west Ealing
A man has been jailed after police found 320 cannabis plants inside an address in west London.
Vinh Van Luong, 39, of no fixed abode was sentenced to eight months in prison after police closed down the huge cannabis factory.
Harrow Crown Court heard officers raided the building in Lynton Avenue, Ealing, on June 9 after neighbours raised concerns of a possible cannabis factory.
When police gained entry they found hundreds of the plants and arrested Luong for production of cannabis.
He pleaded guilty at court and will be deported after serving his sentence.
PC Edwin Ade said: "This is an example of police working together with the community to keep our neighbourhood safe.
"If we receive information about crime, we will follow it up. Residents should not shy away from reporting crimes or their concerns to us. We will follow up any intelligence provided to us and in a confidential manner."
