A MAN caught producing cannabis at his home has been ordered to do unpaid work.


A MAN caught producing cannabis at his home has been ordered to do unpaid work.

Ian Toovey, from Cheltenham Road, Paulsgrove in Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to growing 32 plants of the class B drug.

The 48-year-old was ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work in the next year.

Toovey was told to pay £60 to a fund for victims of crime at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.

He must pay £85 in court costs.
