A Borders man has had £78,000 confiscated after police officers found a cannabis farm in a Peebles property.
The order against Graeme White, 34, of Innerleithen, was made at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Drugs plants with an estimated street value of between £20,000 and £70,000 were found at the site in Bridgegate Court in May 2012.
White admitted growing and supplying cannabis and was given a four-month restriction of liberty order.
He also received a 200-hour community payback order for the offence.
Now he has been made the subject of the confiscation order.
Lindsey Miller, procurator fiscal for organised crime and counter-terrorism, said: "Thanks to the vigilance of the police officers, a cannabis farm was uncovered that almost filled the premises in which it was constructed and consisted of more than 80 plants.
"Police and prosecutors have now dismantled the farm, brought Graeme White to justice and, after a thorough assessment of his financial records, secured the confiscation of £78,000 of criminal profit.
"The funds recovered will be reinvested in the community by Scottish Ministers, through the CashBack for Communities programme."
