Exhibitor news for InterTabac 2024: premieres and special guests at the trade fair stands

Some of these exhibitors - there will be over 700 this year - have already announced highlights and product premieres in advance. Others are bringing interesting guests to the trade fair in addition to exciting products. Dinner Lady, for example, has announced the presentation and launch of a completely new product category. And Next Tröber will be welcoming a star from the motorsport scene to its stand.

“This launch not only creates a new category in the tobacco industry, but will also open up a new phase of growth for our distributors and retailers“, explains John Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer at Dinner Lady, ahead of the start of InterTabac. The new products are set to be the main feature of the trade fair offering from Dinner Lady, one of the world's leading e-liquid brands. The German company will be exhibiting at its stand in the Westfalenhalle (WH.B04).

The promise: nothing more and nothing less than a new product range that offers adult smokers a unique alternative that has never existed before. The target group: consumers who want to switch from traditional tobacco products. John Taylor: “Dinner Lady has recognised a market niche here. We expect the new category to create significant value globally over the next five years.“

Next Tröber Europe GmbH & Co. KG from Hamburg, one of the leading foreign trade companies for lighters, smoking accessories and innovative smokeless products, is attracting visitors to InterTabac not only with new products but also with a well-known name. The Swedish brand Vika Svensson will be presenting innovative new products at its stand: In addition to tobacco- and nicotine-free caffeine pouches, the company will also be presenting a new snus, which will also be available in Germany due to its composition of tobacco and xanthan gum.

Vika ambassador is the international MXGP champion Valentin Guillod. He will be present at the Next Tröber stand (Hall 6, Stand E36) on Friday 20 September from 2 to 4 p.m. and will take the opportunity to share his passion for motorsport and Vika products. His successes include multiple victories in the Swiss and French motocross championships, championship titles in the European Motocross Championship and top placings in the MXGP World Championship. Visitors to the Next Tröber stand will have the opportunity to meet Valentin Guillod in person and capture the experience in a photo together with grid girls.

Visitors to InterTabac will be able to discover four new limited edition products at the Valentino Siesto Cigars stand. The cigar manufacturer from the Dominican Republic will be showing three new cigars from the exclusive Clandestino series: the Clandestino #1 Torpedo Sumatra 54 x 5 ½, the Clandestino #2 Toro Cameroon 52 x 6 and the Clandestino #3 Robusto Cameroon 52 x 5. The special feature of the series is that only the wrapper is revealed, while the binder and filler remain undisclosed. The Nero Black Robusto Sun Grown 5 x 50, an evolution of the previous limited edition, the Nero Black Sun Grown 5 x 54, will also be celebrating its premiere at the trade fair stand in Hall 4 (4.D09).

Joya de Nicaragua is the country's first and oldest cigar manufacturer and is also represented in Hall 4 of InterTabac (4.A08, 4.A14). Among other things, the company will be presenting the Ultimate Jewel Collection, a remarkable collection of Joya de Nicaragua's top creations that offers a journey through the craftsmanship of the blenders and master makers through time. There is also the Joya Cabinetta Lancero, which was removed from the manufacturer's programme in 2016 and is now experiencing a rebirth in 2024 - and in limited quantities. The Antaño is also well-known, but Joya de Nicaragua has now given it a makeover.

Chaveta SA/EGM Cigars, the Swiss online retailer for premium cigars from Cuba, is not only presenting two special editions of Alexander Kraft cigars, but also the new ‘Debut collection’ product line with nine different cigars. The collection showcases the rich complexity of Dominican puros. The company can be found in Hall 7 (7.C04).

Accessories for aficionados will be presented by Italian manufacturer Fox Knives at InterTabac in Hall 4 (4.A03). In the early 2000s, Fox Knives began an adventure in the world of cigar cutters, thanks to the vision of its founder Oreste Frati, who firmly believed in this type of product. In collaboration with Dario Di Chiara (Be.Di.Ma), they developed the 749: the first cigar cutter equipped with a lever cutting system inspired by the paper cutting method. Compared to traditional cutting with a guillotine, this innovative system enables a more precise cut of the cigar.

Among other things, the manufacturer will be bringing the cutter developed jointly with Smoking Moses to the trade fair. Aldo Puncioni, also known as Smoking Moses, is an expert in the field of cigars who has shared his knowledge with the aim of creating functional products.

In the segment of Next Generation Products (NGP), the German company Cool Shisha will be presenting an innovative new product. The company's latest invention will be on display at its stand in Hall 8 (8.G06): the cocktail glass. This is a unique method of cooling the smoke from a shisha using standard ice cubes (soft smoke) and enjoying an ice-cold drink at the same time. The trick: the smoke pipe of the water pipe runs through the drinking vessel, on the lid of which the mouthpiece of the shisha is located. When a cool drink is consumed, the smoke from the hookah also cools down.

Promotorzy Trading from Poland (Hall 7, 7.B18) is bringing BAGZ nicotine pouches - for anyone looking for a smoke- and tobacco-free nicotine experience.
