Invitation to Cannafest 2026
Preparations for the prestigious international Cannafest trade show are in full swing. We would like to invite you to the PVA Expo Exhibition Centre in Prague-Letňany for the 16th edition of the event, which will take place from 6 to 8 November 2026 This year’s event is particularly significant, as you will be able to enjoy it within a new legal framework which, amongst other things, permits the legal cultivation of up to three cannabis plants in private homes and also allows for the consumption of cannabis in public without penalty.
This year’s highlights worth noting:
Main lecture and educational programme – focus on the use of cannabis in medicine
To ensure the conference is treated with the respect it deserves, we have secured the patronage of the First Lady, Mrs Eva Pavlová. We are also moving the conference to larger, more prestigious conference facilities within the PVA Exhibition Centre, with a separate entrance distinct from the trade fair.
Leading international specialists will be speaking at the conference. Notable figures include, for example, leading scientists in the field such as Prof. Nirit Bernstein, Assoc. Prof. Lumír Hanuš, Prof. Guillermo Velasco, and Drs Cynthia De Carlo and Václav Trojan. The programme will also cover topics related to law, business and activism from around the world. The full programme can be found on the trade fair’s official website at www.cannafest.com.
For those who are unable to attend, the programme will be recorded and gradually published on the Cannafest fair’s YouTube channel.
A varied supporting programme – more than just education
Cannafest 2026 will be full of life and inspiration.
The trade fair, featuring 250 exhibitors from around the world, is complemented – as is now tradition – by a rich supporting programme that will both entertain and inspire you. Look forward to the outdoor Smoking & Chillout Zone, where you can legally enjoy your own home-grown produce in a pleasant atmosphere, accompanied by DJs from our partner Slow Down Radio. There will also be live concerts here every day. The zone will be supported by Pilsner Urquell, the official brewery, which will also be organising a variety of beer-related activities and competitions.
Connoisseurs are sure to enjoy the Vapo and Dab Zones. Also worth mentioning are the hands-on workshops, glassblowing demonstrations, art exhibitions and displays, as well as competitions. There’ll also be a wide range of cannabis beer producers on offer as part of CannaBeerFest.
