So-called CBD products will be sold in what is an entirely new type of store in the Netherlands and Europe. CBD stands for Cannabidiol, one of the many components of the cannabis plant, and which has a very beneficial effect on a seemingly endless number of diseases and disorders. The CBD products sold in the CBD Dispensary have no psychoactive effect because the THC content is lower than <0.2%. This is why CBD products are 100% legal in almost all countries of the world.
Since the sixties scientific research has been conducted into the effects of the two cannabinoids, THC and CBD, both of which have a beneficial effect on a litany of ailments. A short list of the diseases/disorders that CBD can have a relieving effect on (and into which scientific CBD research is being done):
ADHD/ AIDS / Alzheimer / Anorexia / Arthritis / Asthma / Cancer / Crohn’s / Diabetes / Epilepsy / Glaucoma / Cardiovascular diseases / Huntington / Liver and kidney diseases / Migraines / Rheumatism / Schizophrenia / Stress / Atherosclerosis / Bipolar disorder / PTSD / Psoriasis / Eczema / Neuralgia / Obesity / Parkinson and many others.
CBD is not a drug and it therefore does not require a prescription. No one will claim that CBD can cure all ailments, although CBD will probably perform a key role in finding solutions. It is a fact that CBD often has a very positive effect, and can thus significantly alleviate symptoms for many patients.
