A MAN caught with 21 bags of cannabis and an offensive weapon was arrested Lancing on Thursday following a police chase.
Officers acting on a tip-off were called to Upper Boundstone Lane, Lancing, shortly before 2pm.
A police spokesman said two men had been seen engaging in what appeared to be a drugs deal.
One man was issued with a street cannabis warning and released.
The other man tried to flee the scene on a bicycle, but following a short pursuit he was stopped and arrested.
A 21-year-old Worthing man is currently helping police with their enquiries.
