Cannabis seized after drugs raid at property

POLICE seized a "quantity" of cannabis in a drugs raid on a Newquay home on Friday.
POLICE seized a "quantity" of cannabis in a drugs raid on a Newquay home on Friday.
The swoop was orchestrated by officers in the Professional Development Unit, based at Newquay Police Station, under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
They interviewed a woman, who was later given a warning for possession of cannabis.
Sergeant James Honeywill said: "This warrant demonstrates the commitment of Devon and Cornwall Police to take action against those committing drugs offences. I would encourage anyone who has information about drugs offences to contact their local police or Crime Stoppers. We will take action against those individuals committing drugs offences where sufficient information is known to us."
