A SUSPECTED drugs grower will will appear in court next month after a flat was raided in Erdington and a child's bedroom was found stuffed with cannabis plants.
Officers from Birmingham North Community Action and Priority Team searched the flat in Beechmount Drive on the Lyndhurst Estate just after 7.30am yesterday morning (March 20) and found 12 cannabis plants in a bedroom.
Nathan Shepherd, 20, from Kentmere Tower was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and was later charged.
He has been bailed to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 9.
An 18-year-old was also arrested but was later released without charge.
