Three people have been taken into custody after drugs with a street value of £4500 were seized from a house in Cupar.

Police officers in Fife, acting on a tip-off, found a cannabis farm in the raid and seized plants and high value equipment.

A report is to be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in Cupar.

Police Scotland Sergeant Gary Combe said: "This is a good result as part of our ongoing campaign, Operation Tusker, and another example of Police Scotland's commitment to tackle illicit drug abuse and remove drugs from the streets of our local communities.

"I hope this acts as a warning and deters others from engaging in drug trafficking activities and provides reassurance to our communities that we will act positively on information received regarding this type of criminality".
