Police were led to this cannabis farm after arresting a man for carrying a blade in the street.
Officers seized the drug plants after detaining a man on Memorial Road in Walkden on Monday afternoon (December 8).
They raided the suspect’s home and made their discovery.
GMP Salford West tweeted a photo of cannabis late on Monday night with the message: “Still lots of work to do from the arrest and cannabis farm from earlier. Here’s a cheeky snap of some of the plants.”
It followed an earlier post by officers, which read: “A male has just been arrested on Memorial Road in Walkden for carrying a lock knife after being stopped by PCSOs Hatton and West. “
They added two hours later: “We’ve just searched the house of the male arrested before for carrying a lock knife in Walkden and uncovered a cannabis farm.”
