Bed Police uncovered a Cannabis factory – with over 120 plants growing – during a raid on a house in Luton yesterday.
Police were alerted to the address at 54a Windsor Walk by members of the public who believed the site was being used to grow drugs.
Once inside, members of the Luton Community Policing Team found three rooms filled with cannabis plants, specialist lighting and watering systems. An exact total of 124 cannabis plants were found in the house and seized.
The raid followed a discovery of 30 cannabis plants at another site in Luton on Tuesday.
Sergeant Melissa Cunningham thanked the public for alerting police to the issue.
She said: “I’d like to ask people to carry on giving us information about these cannabis factories which often use electricity illegally and dangerously and help fund other serious crime.
“If anyone has seen people coming or going at 54A Windsor Walk or has seen any vehicles associated with it, I’d like to hear from them.
