A Caversham drug dealer has been jailed for 20 months.
Carlos Baquero, 28, of The Causeway, was sentenced on Tuesday at Reading Crown Court after admitting possession with intent to supply class B drugs and acquiring criminal property.
He was arrested and charged on Monday June 16 as part of a police investigation into cannabis dealing in the Reading area.
Baquero was sentenced to 20 months imprisonment for the drugs charge and six months for the money laundering to run concurrently, £3,000 cash was also confiscated.
Investigating officer, PC John Chen from Reading CID said: "The organised supply of drugs is harmful to the local community. This individual was a significant player in the supply of drugs in Reading and this lengthy sentence reflects his involvement.
